Why We Began
Core & Glow was born from a simple but powerful belief: melanin-rich skin deserves products that actually work for its unique needs — not treated as an afterthought.
For too long, people with darker skin tones have struggled to find skincare that effectively addresses concerns such as hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, dehydration, and sensitivity. At the same time, true skin health goes beyond what we apply externally. Healthy skin is nurtured from within through nutrition, wellness, and daily self-care.
As the founder, I wanted to build more than another beauty brand. I wanted to build the standard — a brand that goes out, seeks out the actives, formulas and routines that genuinely earn a place on melanin-rich skin, and brings the best of them together under one name people can trust.
That vision became Core & Glow.

To everyone who has ever stood in a skincare aisle and found nothing that spoke to them — this brand is for you.
I created Core & Glow because I know what it feels like to search for products that understand your skin. To read ingredient lists and know that the formula wasn't thinking of you. To try ‘brightening’ products that made no difference because they were never designed for the way melanin-rich skin actually works.
I wanted to change that. Not with a campaign, and not by guessing — but by being relentlessly selective about what actually earns a place in this range. Every product here was chosen because it carries actives proven effective on deeper skin tones. SPF that doesn't leave a white cast. Formulas that respect melanin-rich skin instead of working against it.
Core & Glow is the brand I wished had existed. And now it does.
